Second Contender for the ICC player of the month – December is Australian Captain Pat Cummins. December and 2024 has been exceptional for the Captain.
When they lost the first test in BGT against India , he said in the press conference that one week doesn’t change what we have achieved and proved that by winning the series by 3-1. Not only that, but Australia won BGT after 10 years under his leadership.
His captaincy and bowling has been appreciated by the world. He has won the last World Test Championship against India, ODI World Cup, Ashes and now with BGT, his list of achievements is growing everyday.
He claimed 17 wickets in just three test matches in December at an average of 17.64.Fans are considering him as one of the best captains of this era.
Third is Dane Paterson, South African pacer who has taken 13 wickets in just two test matches against Pakistan.
His performance against Sri lanka and Pakistan has led to successful campaigns for the South African Team.
The Temba Bavuma led side is in the final of World Test Championship and Dane Paterson’s performance has played a role in securing that position in the final series against Pakistan.
